Francois Breant is a French musician, keyboardist, composer, arranger, artistic director, and producer, born in Rouen on September 23, 1947. He began his career in pop music before transitioning to psych/prog bands. Breant released two synth/prog/experimental instrumental albums under his own name. In addition to his solo work, he spent seven years as a session musician, playing in the backing bands of top pop acts. He has also composed, arranged, and produced albums for various French and international artists, including Enzo Enzo, Kent, Salif Keita, and Sekouba Bambino. Furthermore, Breant has composed and arranged music for films, television, short films, and other events.
