Frank Eddie began his musical journey at the age of 13, starting with piano while living in Yonkers, New York during the early 60s. Surrounded by the vibrant sounds of Soul music, he soon transitioned to guitar, which has remained his primary instrument. After moving to Florida, Frank teamed up with drummer and singer William Hopkins to form a band, collaborating with talented Jazz students from the University of Miami, including Curtis and Carmen Lundy. They also jammed with future stars like Steve Morse, Othello Molineaux, and Jaco Pastorius. Despite facing challenges with major labels and feeling disheartened by the music industry's practices, Frank chose to self-release a single record and worked independently to promote it locally, although he did not connect with the audience it truly deserved.
