Frank Harris is a talented musician, composer, engineer, and music producer based in the San Francisco Bay Area. He holds a B.A. in music performance with a focus on classical guitar from UCLA. Frank is proficient in playing piano and guitar, singing, and composing and arranging music, utilizing computers and synthesizers in his creative process. He is recognized as one of the world's experts in programming the Synclavier, an early digital synthesizer. For the past 20 years, Frank has operated Third Wave Productions, his music production company, and has gained critical acclaim for his work as a recording engineer, featured in various audiophile publications. His last CD, "From the Gekko" (1997), received praise on NPR’s All Things Considered for its blend of real-world and synthesized music, rich South American vocals, and jazz elements. Frank's diverse accomplishments include film scoring, commercials, and documentaries. Notable works include musical compositions for Joseph Campbell’s lecture series, the award-winning PBS documentary "Not All Parents are Straight," the independent film "Three by Three," and the feature film "No Retreat, No Surrender" starring Jean Claude Van Damme. He also composed and produced themes for ESPN’s "The Season," Hearst Entertainment’s "The Bravest," and the TV show "B. Smith with Style."
