Frank Ricotti is a British jazz vibraphonist and percussionist, born on 13 January 1949 in London, England. He studied at a London institution from 1967 to 1970 and has recorded jazz with various artists. Later in his career, he focused on studio work, collaborating with numerous musicians and composing music for television. Ricotti is known for his versatility in playing a wide range of instruments, including congas, bongos, vibraphone, tambourine, shaker, tubular bells, marimba, glockenspiel, xylophone, snare drum, triangle, timpani, timbales, tabla, sleigh bells, drums, gong, and various other percussion instruments, including ethnic and Latin styles.
