Frankie Vaughan was a British singer born on February 3, 1928, in Liverpool, England. He passed away on May 17, 1999, in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, England. Vaughan was renowned for his trademark "High Kick" during performances and is fondly remembered in Scotland for his humanitarian contributions in the late 1960s, where he worked with a youth project to address gang violence in Glasgow's Easterhouse district. He was honored with the title of Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE).
