Franz Casseus was a Haitian guitarist, composer, and educator, born in 1915 in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. He passed away on June 3, 1993, in Manhattan, NY, USA. Casseus was noted for his collaborations with various artists and was recognized as an early tutor of other musicians.
