Freaky Chakra is an artist who emerged from the San Francisco underground scene after being introduced to Mike Kandel (a.k.a. Tranquility Bass) of Exist Dance by mutual friend Miguel Fierro (a.k.a. Single Cell Orchestra). Kandel was impressed by Daum Bentley's demo, leading to the release of "Halucifuge / Transcendental Funk Bump" in the summer of 1993, which became an underground hit. Following this success, Freaky Chakra released the "March Of The Tangent" EP, the full-length albums "Lowdown Motivator" and "Blacklight Fantasy," and collaborated with Single Cell Orchestra.
