Freddie Joachim, known as JO-AH-KIM, is a talented producer and DJ with a deep passion for hip hop, jazz, and soul music. He began his journey in the mid-90s, transitioning from DJing to recording and production. Over the years, Freddie has collaborated with notable artists such as Aloe Blacc, Blu, Grap Luva, LMNO, Kev Brown, Joey Bada$$, and Carlitta Durand. His music has garnered attention from influential figures like Erykah Badu and Phonte, and has been featured in respected publications including Wax Poetics and Okayplayer. Freddie's work has reached a wide audience through major television networks like MTV and NBC, and his songs have been licensed by popular brands such as DC Shoes, Nike, Adidas, and Monster Energy. He has performed internationally, headlining shows in Japan, South Africa, Europe, and the U.S., sharing the stage with artists like Ohmega Watts, Joss Stone, and Ali Shaheed Muhammad of A Tribe Called Quest. In Spring 2008, Freddie released his first full-length album, "In With Time," through the Japanese label Subcontact, featuring collaborations with Aloe Blacc, Blu, and others. The following year, he teamed up with Question to release the instrumental album "Study Guide" on DJ Tonk's Milkdipper label. In Summer 2010, he continued his instrumental series with "Midway," which marked the first featured artist's album
