Peter Haubfleisch, known by his stage name Fresh Moods, grew up in a village near Giessen, Germany. His musical journey began with an electronic organ, encouraged by his father to take lessons. While he learned to play from sheet music, he found greater joy in manipulating sounds through the instrument's controls. At the age of 23, Peter partnered with a DJ to establish a recording studio focused on producing house and techno tracks. He self-taught himself the art of mixing, arranging, and programming synthesizers and samplers. In 1997, he released his first album on Electrolux, a small label in Frankfurt, which featured "Rhythmbreeze," one of his most successful compositions. In 2006, Peter released his fourth album, "Exhale," which he intended to be the final project. This album turned out to be his most successful, achieving a chart entry on iTunes. After a seven-year hiatus, he revisited his past creations and found renewed appreciation for them. With an updated home studio equipped for Hi-Res Audio recording, Peter returned to music, driven by his enduring love for it. In 2013, he began a new chapter with the release of "Fresh Moods - Carbon Islands," followed by "Orfine" in 2016 and "Boule" in 2019.
