Fritz Pauer was an Austrian jazz and classical keyboard instrumentalist, composer, and bandleader, born on October 14, 1943, in Vienna. He passed away on July 1, 2012. Pauer began his career in music from 1960 to 1962 before leading his own groups and accompanying visiting American jazz musicians in Berlin clubs from 1962 to 1968. Around 1970, he joined the dance orchestra at Austrian radio and accompanied on four albums from 1970 to 1981. He settled in Switzerland around 1986.
