Fuse One is an all-star band founded by a producer in 1980. The original lineup included several notable musicians and achieved significant success with a sold-out tour in Japan, where their debut album sold over 150,000 copies and featured the hit "Double Steal." The second incarnation of the band recorded the acclaimed Silk album in 1981, which included a diverse group of artists. The third and final project, titled Ice, was recorded in 1984 and featured another impressive lineup of musicians.
