Fusioon was a Spanish progressive rock and jazz-rock band active in the 1970s, known for their connection to the "Canterbury sound." Their debut album, "Fusioon," released in 1972, showcased instrumental compositions that highlighted Manel Camp's keyboard talents, drawing comparisons to bands like Ekseption, Focus, and The Nice. The band's second album, also titled "Fusioon," came out in 1974 and marked a significant evolution in their sound, incorporating influences from the Canterbury scene, including Egg, National Health, and Soft Machine. Their final album, "Minorisa," released in 1975, featured more complex compositions reminiscent of Frank Zappa, King Crimson, and Gentle Giant. The band's lineup included Manuel Camp on piano, organ, moog, mellotron, and vocals; Marti Brunet on guitar, vocals, and synthesizer; Jordi Camp on bass and vocals; and Santi Arisa on drums, vocals, and flute.
