G. Rizo is a Nigerian-American singer, DJ, and producer originally from New York City, now based in Vienna, Austria. She published the underground art and music 'zine Repellent (R.I.P.) for three years before moving to Europe to pursue her music career. As a singer, G. Rizo has collaborated with various artists, including Patrick Pulsinger, In Flagranti, Gerhard Potuznik, Maximilian Skiba, Snax, Donovan, and Jimmy Edgar. In 2009, she completed the Master Certificate at Berklee Music online and now hosts and teaches electronic music production workshops in Vienna called "Electro Hammam." She is also producing and releasing her own music through her self-run label, Hezekina Pollutina, with her first release, a 7-inch vinyl EP, set to debut on July 30th, 2010.
