Galaxie 500 was an influential trio formed in Boston in 1987, consisting of Dean Wareham, Naomi Yang, and Damon Krukowski. The band released three albums on Rough Trade Records: "Today" in 1988, "On Fire" in 1989, and "This Is Our Music" in 1990, before disbanding in 1991. Following their breakup, three archival recordings were released: "Uncollected" (a compilation of rarities and outtakes from 1987-90), "Peel Sessions" (recorded for BBC Radio 1's John Peel Show in 1989 and 1990), and "Copenhagen" (a live recording by Danish National Radio in 1990). The original albums have been remastered and reissued on LP, and each CD release includes one of the archival discs as a bonus. These physical releases are available worldwide from 20-20-20.
