Gangpol Und Mit is a French duo consisting of Sylvain Quément, who handles the music, and Guillaume Castagné, who focuses on graphic design. Since their formation in 2001, they have blended deviant cartoon aesthetics with technicolor electronics, often performing under an uncanny disguise. The duo has launched and contributed to various multimedia projects, including their virtual band's live performances, interactive wooden sculptures, and audiovisual concerts tailored for both adults and children. They have demonstrated their ability to engage diverse audiences through projects like Kuala Lumpen at the French Institute and Carton Park. Gangpol Und Mit has toured extensively across Europe, Asia, and South America, showcasing their AV live shows. Additionally, they are involved in exhibitions, publications, soundtracks, DJ selections, workshops, and lectures. The duo has released records on several labels, including Ipecac in the USA and Out One Disc in Japan, and has produced a DVD for the German publisher Pictoplasma.
