Gappy Ranks is a British dancehall artist born in 1983 in Harlesden, London, England, of Jamaican and Dominican descent. After completing high school, he collaborated with Redmann (UK) and joined the UK dancehall collective Suncycle. He later embarked on a solo career in 2004.
