Garnet Silk was a Jamaican reggae singer and musician, born on April 2, 1966. He played a significant role in reviving cultural themes in Jamaican music during the post-1985 digital era and had a profound influence on dancehall music in the 1990s. Garnet Silk passed away on December 9, 1994.
