Gary Wayne Shelton, known professionally as Troy Shondell, was a singer/songwriter born on May 14, 1939, in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He began his recording career under the name Gary Shelton before adopting the stage name Troy Shondell. He passed away on January 7, 2016, in Picayune, Mississippi.
