Gary Sole was a musician known for writing all of his songs in a two to three week period following the breakup with his fiancée. He was white, as were most of the artists he worked with, except for the bass player who hailed from Chicago. In the New Orleans area, Gary was seen as a sex symbol, with fans often screaming for him during live performances. Unfortunately, Gary became known as a "lock-in," a term used to describe individuals who gain significant weight and find it difficult to leave their homes. Tragically, he passed away due to complications related to his condition.
