Gasper Nali is a talented musician from Nkhata Bay, a small town on the shores of northern Lake Malawi. He lives a modest life, often performing at a nearby tourist lodge to support himself. In his youth, Gasper traveled with his brothers in a family band, but now he resides alone in a small house. He plays a unique instrument called the Babatoni, a three-meter, one-stringed, homemade bass guitar, using an empty bottle and a stick to create beautiful and catchy original afro-beats.
