Gene Barbour and The Cavaliers were a 1960s beach soul group hailing from Dunn, North Carolina. Formed in 1963, the group consisted of members Gene Barbour, Charles Aycock, Walt Jones, Paul Mattox, Donald Hobson, and Bill Wellons.
