Genesis Breyer P-Orridge was an artist known for earlier involvement with COUM Transmissions, Throbbing Gristle, and Psychic TV. In 2003, he/she adopted the identity of Genesis Breyer P-Orridge (also known as Genesis/Djin Breyer P-Orridge) alongside life partner Lady J (also known as /Miss Jackie). Together, they initiated a performance series called Breaking Sex, which aimed at the reunion and resolution of male and female into a perfected hermaphroditic state, termed Pandrogeny. This project involved surgeries to blur the lines between their sexes, bringing them closer to a singular physical identity. In the same year, he/she relaunched Psychic TV as PTV3. Genesis Breyer P-Orridge passed away on March 14, 2020.
