Geoffrey Bastow was a producer, songwriter, and electronic musician born on May 20, 1949, in Spen Valley, Yorkshire, England. He passed away on March 16, 2007, in Berlin, Germany. Bastow moved to London in the early 1970s and later relocated to Munich in 1976. He was a key figure in the development of the Munich disco sound and collaborated with a variety of stars throughout his career. He was also the brother of other notable individuals in the music industry.
