George Antheil
George Antheil was an American avant-garde composer, pianist, author, and inventor, born on July 8, 1900, in Trenton, New Jersey, USA. He passed away on February 12, 1959, in New York City, USA. In 1923, Antheil moved to Paris, where he gained the support of many influential friends, including his idol. He was known for his inventions, which included a patented torpedo guidance system and a broad-spectrum signal transmission system, referred to as frequency skipping, co-authored with an actress. In 1944, he wrote his autobiography, "Bad Boy of Music," which was published the following year by Doubleday.
