Georges Clinton is an American funk singer, songwriter, producer, and bandleader, born on July 22, 1941, in Kannapolis, North Carolina. He is a seminal figure and the mastermind behind influential bands. He should not be confused with a composer, arranger, and musician of the same name. Clinton's son is also a musician.
