Georgos Koros (1923 - 2014) was a renowned Greek composer and traditional violin player, celebrated for his extensive body of work that includes over 1200 songs. Born on March 19, 1923, in Andronianous, Evia, he was influenced by his father's singing of psalms, which introduced him to Byzantine music. He was the father of Níkos Kóros. Georgos Koros passed away on January 8, 2014.
