Gepy was an Italian singer and songwriter born in Rome on June 13, 1943. He began his musical career at the age of 16 and became a professional in 1965, performing at the Piper Club in Rome, a venue known for launching many artists. He formed a duo called Dany & Gepy with his wife, specializing in Soul-R&B covers. In 1967, he began performing in a duo for live shows and television with the talented Italian-Eritrean singer Chimenti, sometimes joined by blonde Marcella Petrelli. Gepy passed away on July 3, 2010.
