Gevorg G. Dabaghyan (Armenian: Գևորգ Դաբաղյան) is a renowned duduk player born in Yerevan, Armenia in 1965. He is recognized as one of the first virtuosos to perform excerpts from the Divine Liturgy of the Armenian church on the duduk and is celebrated for his interpretations of the works of Sayat Nova, as well as his performances of traditional Armenian folk music. Dabaghyan earned his Master’s degree at the Yerevan State Conservatory, where he currently serves as a lecturer. He is a member of the Silk Road Ensemble and leads the Shoghaken Folk Ensemble.
