Gevorg G. Dabaghyan (Armenian: Գևորգ Դաբաղյան) is a renowned duduk player born in Yerevan, Armenia, in 1965. He is recognized as one of the first virtuosos to perform excerpts from the Divine Liturgy of the Armenian church on the duduk and is celebrated for his interpretations of the works of Sayat Nova, as well as his performances of traditional Armenian folk music. Dabaghyan earned his Master’s degree at the Yerevan State Conservatory, where he currently serves as a lecturer. He is also the leader of the Shoghaken Folk Ensemble and performs with the Silk Road Ensemble.
