Ghetto Blaster is an Afrobeat group that was formed in 1983 by three ex-members: a lead vocalist and guitarist, a drummer, and a percussionist, along with additional members on guitar, bass, keyboards, and vocals. The group drifted apart at the end of the 1980s due to the deaths of some members and the illness of others. In 1999, Ghetto Blaster reformed around a core trio.
