Ghetto Concept is a Canadian hip-hop duo formed in 1992 by Kwajo Cinqo (Kwajo Boateng) and Dolo (Lowell Frazier), originating from the Rexdale and Lawrence Heights neighborhoods of Toronto. They released their first single, "Certified," in 1993 through an independent label, followed by "E-Z On Tha Motion" in 1994. The group received Juno Awards in 1995 and 1996 for these tracks. In 1996, Ghetto Concept established 7 Bills Entertainment and released their self-titled debut album, "Ghetto Concept," in 1998, featuring singles like "Krazy World" and "Precious Metalz." Their track "Too Much," featured on the Baby Blue Sound Crew's "Private Party" album, achieved gold certification in 1999. The group's most popular single, a 2001 remix titled "Still Too Much," included collaborations with Maestro, Red-1, Ironside, and Snow. In 2002, they released "Ghetto Concept Presents...7 Bills All-Stars: Da Album." In 2004, Ghetto Concept rebranded their label as G7 Records Inc. and recorded music across various cities, including Toronto, Los Angeles, New York, and Atlanta.
