Gianni Ferrio was an Italian composer, arranger, and conductor, born in Vicenza, Veneto, in 1924. He passed away in Rome in 2013. Ferrio is best known as the co-composer of the famous song "Parole, Parole." He was an experienced television conductor and served as the musical director for the 1959 and 1962 editions of the San Remo Song Festival, as well as the 1965 Eurovision Song Contest held in Naples.
