Gil Bernal (February 4, 1931 - July 16, 2011) was a talented singer and session musician from Watts, Los Angeles. He is best known for his saxophone work, which featured on notable recordings such as "Searchin'" by The Coasters. In the 1950s, he contributed to Duane Eddy's 1958 album, Have 'Twangy' Guitar Will Travel. Later in his career, Bernal played on Warren Zevon's 2003 album, The Wind, as well as on Ry Cooder's Chávez Ravine album.
