Gil Trythall (October 28, 1930 - February 17, 2023) was a composer known for his work in both traditional and electronic music. He served as a faculty member at the Peabody School of Music. Academically, he earned his Master’s degree from Northwestern University and his PhD from Cornell University. In addition to his compositions, he authored several instructional books, including a music theory computer-based software program. He was the older brother of [name not provided].
