Gilles Rivard was a Canadian singer-songwriter from Saint-Jean-d'Iberville, Québec, born on March 1, 1949. He achieved remarkable success on radio in Québec, although he rarely performed on stage. After ceasing to write songs in 1985, he transitioned to a role as a show designer for Pathonic. Rivard passed away from pancreatic cancer at the age of 41 on November 19, 1991.
