Gina X Performance is a musical group formed in Cologne, Germany, in 1978, featuring the charismatic Gina Kikoine on vocals and lyrics, alongside writer-producer-musician Zeus B. Held. The group released three albums of cool arthouse electro-disco between 1979 and 1981: "Nice Mover," "X-Traordinaire," and "Voyeur." They later released an album titled "Yinglish" in 1984. Their classic 1979 single "No G.D.M." became a club hit on both sides of the Atlantic and remains a cult classic, featured on electro/synthcore compilations like "Nag Nag Nag." Another notable track, the slinky second single "Nice Mover," has also gained recognition, appearing on the Andrew Weatherall compilation "Nine O'Clock Drop."
