Giulio Stermieri, born in 1988, is an accomplished keyboard player who won the best keyboard player award at the latest Jazzit Awards. He graduated cum laude from the Parma Conservatory under the guidance of Alberto Tacchini and is currently studying with Paolo Birro at the Vicenza Conservatory. From 2011 to 2014, he played with the jazz-rock group Foursome, during which he published two full-length albums featuring his own compositions. Between 2013 and 2017, Giulio performed with Francesco Cusa Assassins as a hammondist and pianist, recording three full-length albums and playing gigs across Italy, Slovenia, Holland, and France. Since 2015, he has led the "Giulio Stermieri Stopping Trio," alongside Giacomo Marzi and Andrea Burani, releasing their self-titled album in 2017. This trio later expanded into a sextet with Cristiano Arcelli, Massimiliano Milesi, and Andrea Baronchelli. In addition to these projects, Giulio collaborates in the duo "Mizar" with Flavio Zanuttini and the "Bred" trio with Federico Negri and Martino De Franceschi.
