Giuseppi Verdi was an Italian opera composer active in the 19th century. He was born on either 9 or 10 October 1813 in Le Roncole, a village near Busseto, Italy, and passed away on 27 January 1901 in Milan, Italy. Verdi's operas are among the most performed on stages worldwide.
