Glen Velez is an American percussionist, vocalist, composer, and teacher, born in 1949. He specializes in frame drums from around the world and has developed a unique musical style that draws inspiration from both Western percussion and global frame drum performance traditions. His concerts feature a variety of instruments, including the Egyptian riq, the Irish bodhran, and the North African tar.
