Glenn Barber was an American country and rockabilly singer and songwriter, born on February 2, 1935, in Hollis, Oklahoma. He passed away on March 28, 2008, in Gallatin, Tennessee. Barber recorded for several labels throughout his career, including Starday Records from 1954 to 1965, "D" Records from 1958 to 1960, United Artists Records from 1959 to 1962, and Hickory Records in the 1970s. He released three albums and charted 21 singles on the Hot Country Songs chart, with his highest entry being "Unexpected Goodbye," which reached number 23.
