Goatsnake is an American doom metal band hailing from Los Angeles, founded in 1996. The band experienced a slowdown in activity after 2001 and entered a hiatus in 2004 as members chose to focus on other projects. In 2010, the original lineup, consisting of Pete Stahl, Greg Anderson, Guy Pinhas, and Greg Rogers, reunited to perform at the Roadburn Festival in Holland. Since then, Goatsnake has played several shows and festivals, and in 2015, they announced the release of a new album titled "Black Age Blues." The current lineup includes Pete Stahl on vocals, Greg Anderson on guitar, Scott Reeder on bass, and Greg Rogers on drums. Other notable members have included Guy Pinhas, G. Stuart Dahlquist, John-Robert Connors, and Joey Castillo.
