Godflesh is an experimental and influential British band that was formed in Birmingham in 1988 by Justin Broadrick, a former member of Napalm Death, and G. C. Green, who was part of Head Of David. The band is known for being one of the first to combine metal riffs with drum machine rhythms, earning them recognition as pioneers of industrial metal. Godflesh disbanded in 2002 but reunited in 2009. For their early recordings, the drum machine is credited.
