GØGGS is a band formed by Ty, Chris Shaw, and thrash master Charles Moothart, solidifying their collaboration after Ex-Cult opened for Ty's band during the Slaughterhouse tour in 2013. Friends for years, they have shared experiences of crashing at each other's houses and exploring each other's record collections after performances. GØGGS is not just a side project; it is a necessity for the trio, described as three heads with one spine, navigating the challenges of life on Earth. Their debut single, “She Got Harder,” is set to be released in November on In The Red Records, featuring an Iggy Pop cover with Zumi Rosow on the B-side. An album is scheduled to drop next year, featuring collaborations with Cory Hanson of Wand, Denee Petracek of Vial, and Mikal Cronin, marking the beginning of the second chapter in the GØGGS saga, titled Smoke the Wurm.
