Goree Carter (January 1, 1931 – December 27, 1990) was an American musician known for his talents as a singer, guitarist, drummer, and songwriter. He also served in the military. Throughout his career, he was recognized by several stage names, including Little T-Bone, Rocky Thompson, and Gory Carter. Goree Carter recorded music in various blues genres, including electric blues, jump blues, and Texas blues, as well as rock and roll.
