Goth-Trad is a Japanese musician and producer renowned for his dubstep releases. He began his music career in 1998, releasing two solo albums that blended noise and industrial elements with abstract electronica and hip-hop. In 2005, with his album "Mad Raver's Dance Floor," he shifted his focus to more danceable music, including dubstep. This transition, along with the launch of his dubstep party series, Back To Chill, in Tokyo, led to his first international releases, including a series of 12" EPs and an album on a seminal UK dubstep label. Goth-Trad quickly became a household name internationally, performing DJ sets and live acts around the world, particularly in Europe. In November 2014, he established his own label, and around 2016, he began exploring more experimental sounds with his solo releases and a new band. He ultimately returned to releasing dubstep in 2021.
