Graeme Revell is a soundtrack composer, experimental musician, and author, born on October 23, 1955, in Auckland, New Zealand. He moved to Australia in 1978, where he founded the influential industrial band SPK. The band initially gained attention for their extreme noise and controversial subjects, but later transitioned to synth-pop, featuring Revell and his then-wife. In the mid-1980s, Revell established a label to release his solo recordings in ambient and experimental music. He eventually became a successful composer for many mid and high-budget Hollywood productions. Revell is currently residing in Waiheke, New Zealand, and is a father.
