Graham Nash, OBE, born on February 2, 1942, in Blackpool, Lancashire, England, is an English singer-songwriter and musician. He co-founded a band in the early 1960s and, in 1965, formed a publishing company with other members, which later signed a young artist known for playing piano and organ on The Hollies' recordings. In 1968, Nash left The Hollies to form a folk "supergroup." He became an American citizen on August 14, 1978, and now holds dual citizenship in the UK and the United States. Nash is also a photography collector and a published photographer, with many of his albums and mixes produced in his San Francisco home studio. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of Crosby, Stills & Nash in 1997 and as a member of The Hollies in 2010. Additionally, he was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2009 and the International Photography Hall of Fame and Museum in 2016.
