Grant Hart was born on March 18, 1961, in South Saint Paul, Minnesota, and passed away on September 13, 2017, in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He was an American drummer, guitarist, singer, and songwriter who was active from the early 1980s, primarily performing in the genres of punk, hardcore, and alternative rock. Before his music career, Hart worked at a record store in St. Paul during the late 1970s.
