Grant Nelson is a prolific producer, remixer, and DJ from London, born on April 27, 1971. He produced music under an undisclosed name from 1990 to 1993, creating breakbeat hardcore and techno. Nelson is recognized as an influential figure in the UK garage scene, thanks to his numerous releases on a label he co-founded in 1993. In 1997, he began using the alter-ego to release 2-step garage music. He has remained a house and garage producer since his early Nice 'N' Ripe days and continues to produce under his labels established in 1995 and 2012. He is also the partner of an unnamed individual and the cousin of another unnamed person.
