Greenflow was a US band formed in the mid-1970s by Californian trombone player and singer Art Greene, along with his sister Eleanora, a vocalist. They played on the R&B circuit and participated in United Services Organizations (USO) tours, performing for US military personnel around the world, including a notable performance in Japan in 1976 before recording their only album. The lineup on this LP included Art and Eleanora Greene, Allan Talbert on saxophone—who had previously been part of one of Arthur Lee’s early bands—and Joe Banks on trumpet. Talbert and Banks had connections with George Semper, a jazz organ player who served as the musical director for Wattstax and was the owner of Inner City and Parlour Records.
